Texting during Ads

As someone who is using the free version of Spotify, I appreciate the platforms ability in letting me listen to a range of music at the cost of a few adverts between songs. However, since they implemented this messaging system within Spotify, it does become jarring when I am mid text and an advert interrupts me. I totally lose concentration of my message and it does get annoying. The advert should interrupt the audio aspect of Spotify but does it need to fill the whole screen for the video? A mini player for the advert, like how it would appear when leaving Spotify, within the app itself would be very nice. That way there is a smooth conversation, without having to wait a minute to resume. Maybe someone has mentioned a mini player to search for songs during an advert. But yes, within the chat, the preview and play option can be locked until the advert is over. But allow us accessibility to multitask during the advert, particularly this newly implemented messaging system. It disturbs the smoothness of it all. Else, suggesting songs might as well resume in a different app.
