[Web Player] Allow playlist sorting

You removed sorting on web player in an anti-consumer move to push people onto your stand-alone apps. This is a false issue you made up. Please fix your own issue and allow playlists to be sorted on web.

I will not install your stand alone app on my desktop.

It is very unfortunate that something so useful is not available on the web app. I am using a chromebook and without this feature, it is not usable for me. I am really wondering how hard it can be to implement, since it is already available in all other apps. I feel that people stop voting and reporting because the people at Spotify seem to ignore these kind of wishes. Again, very unfortunate.

would be great if the player had some more options for sorting your playlists. should be an easy add for example to have the option to sort by release date? would be immensely helpful for people who use it for professional purposes (radio / djs / etc).

It seems like this idea has been posted in various formats definitely more than 10+ times, always getting votes and then closed. So I’m pretty sure if you get the totals of all the closed and duplicate threads, it should definitely have enough votes. it’s also not a terribly difficult thing to implement for the desktop player so a bit hard to understand why this keeps getting buried?

My Question or Issue

It's 2024 and i see this issue is known since 2017. 
It can not be that hard to implement a sorting option in the web player.  

Please just add this basic functionality.

Why can't I sort my songs on the web player? It just defaults to "date added". I have 7k songs so if I want to find a specific one, well too bad for me?

I would like to be able to play a playlist in reverse order (last added song first) from the web interface in browser

The ability to sort music on the website like I can with the app. I listen to Spotify at work using the website and would like to be able to sort my "liked songs" in spacific order such as "title." Thank you

2025 and they still haven't added any way to sort podcasts on web player. I think it's safe to say, they never will.

It's a quality-of-life feature and you know how Spotify is about those; most get turned into $$$ opportunities by becoming a 'Premium exclusive' feature.
