Remove duplicates

It's confusing seeing a song that I like not in my liked songs, turns I do already have it in my liked and spotify just ends up having the same song 3 or more times in their library. I think they should have a cleaner library that doesn't have the same song listed many times but just once as it is all the same song.

I really hope they do something for this. It’ll duplicate not only, the same song off the same album but also, if the song is on multiple albums. There’s gotta be a way to fix and prevent that

yeah, it's definitely annoying to have 5 of the same songs.  3 is the identical song, and the other 2 is the identical song from another album.

I do understand some songs have a clean version and an explicit version. But there are others which have duplicates of the same media.

This is good in concept but certain songs are done in newer versions of the same song. I just like all of the versions to mark that I have liked that song, so no biggy 🙂

they should specify the version, to be honest.  i want the regular version of the original for better support.

I want them to label any alternate versions, if a song has any. Sometimes a duplicate of a song could be a different version that Spotify doesn't label.

I wish we could just sort our lists alphabetically, I can remove the duplicates on my own.

It's so annoying when a song shows up in a Spotify playlist that I know I should have in my liked songs but it's a different "version" than the one I have liked. Why can't they at least prioritise the liked version?

This happens for me because me and my friends add songs to my playlist. So they add it and then when I go to add it I see it as not in there so I add it and now there is two. Once I realize and go to remove one it removes both which really sucks cause I liked where it was placed in my playlist before I accidentally added it twice. PLS FIX THIS
