[Your Library] Download limit

I think removing the 10,000 download limit is necessary after the removal of the liked songs limit. If there's people that likes that amount of music is logical they would want to have it offline.

On the other hand, I've seen this idea poster before and disregarded because of its similarity to older posts about the 3,333 download limit, which is absolutely not the case and shouldn't be considered a duplicate. I really hope this is taken into consideration.

Downloading music once (and listening to it offline multiple times) requires less energy than streaming the same song multiple times.

While being offline, I’d like to select any playlist from my entire library and not only from a subset. I don’t mind to be online every 30days or even more often to sync what songs I have listened to.

Spotify could reduce its carbon footprint by allowing users to download more than 10k songs. Other services have much higher limits or no limits at all, so technically there should be no reason why this is not possible, right?

I think is very necessary to remove this limit, if iv'e created over 60 full playlists, why can I download just one?

Hope that more votes will arrive

Please get rid of The 10,000 limit! My playlists exceed 10,000. It’s an inconvenience to unselect playlists to download a new one.

I have submitted a related, slight-different ask for this. If Spotify cannot or will not remove this limit, I would like the ability to manage around this limit for which there are several possible options to solve for my specific need. I am unsure if this ask is to solve for my specific use case. Details here (and links to first closed ask at bottom)

Hello everyone,

I've just talk to Spotify Support, and their main concern is that downloading above 10,000 songs can make the app very buggy.
I have an idea, after you finish downloading the first 10,000 tracks at your device, you can download between 1000-3000 extra tracks for every session. And yes, the only thing that will limit you is your device's storage, which means you can make how many download sessions as you want, as long as it doesn’t occur at the same time.

Hello everyone, I'm sure that the limit of 10,000 songs is frustrating, so have an idea - after you finish to download 10,000, only than you'll be allowed to download the other 10,000 songs that you want, and all over again. For an example - if you want to download amount of 40,000 songs, you will be request to do it 4 times, which means to divide your download process to 4!
This means that your only limit is you device's capability!

At their homepage spotify is promoted like "music without boundaries, listen to million of songs without advertisement, whenever you want - even offline"

Seems like a joke to me...

If there is someone who can push this topic, pleeeease 🙏🙏🙏
