[iOS][Discover] Restore Touch Preview on iOS App

Touch preview removal on last iOS vers. update looks like it hasn't been a great idea. You are on time to restore it, one of the best Spotify features.

Thanks for coming to the Community, and adding your vote to this idea!

 

This feature was originally removed from the app due to low engagement. There was a statement at the time which you can check out at https://community.spotify.com/t5/iOS-iPhone-iPad/Touch-Preview-on-iOS-removal/td-p/1857905.

 

We're keeping this idea as 'Not Right Now', as it's not something we have any immediate plans to add back onto the app.

 

If we do have any new info to share we'll check back in here with a new status.

You HAVE to bring back touch preview. It was the most amazing feature of Spotify and a huge reason why I have chose Spotify as my go to music app. I have paid for it for years, but without this feature I have no reason to switch to Apple Music. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in this decision.

You will lose lose many many paying subscribers because of this.

Im lazy I need this feature to find new music faster. I honestly didn't even realize how much I actually used it until you guys took it away. Spotify is not the same without it. Im not gonna lie and say I'm switching to Apple Music cuz your girl is loyal but this makes me almost not want to go on Spotify as often.

This is insane, this was by far one of Spotify's most useful features. It makes no sense why you would remove it. It made navigating new albums and playlists so much faster and easier... it was a hidden feature with no communication so obviously it had low engagement. How are people supposed to use a feature they don't even know exists... I only discovered it by chance...
