[iOS] Implement Native HomePod Support

Just this week at WWDC (June 22, 2020), Apple announced support for third party music services on the HomePod.  I'm requesting that Spotify implement native support for the HomePod such that one or even multiple HomePods will appear in the "Connect to a device" menu on any Apple device WITHOUT having to connect through Airplay.  This will also allow users to ask Siri to play songs from Spotify on their HomePod(s). 

Apple is opening up the HomePod, and I know there are many other HomePod users that would love to have native Spotify support on their speaker.

Please upvote this idea to garner attention for it.  Thank you Spotify and the Spotify community.  Let's get this implemented so it's ready for general iOS 14 release this September!

Please hurry up and implement spotify for the HomePod (mini).
Otherwise I may switch permanently.

Depuis l'annonce faite courant juin 2020 par lequel Spotify pourrait être lu sur Le HomePod, je trouve
dommage que les choses ne changent pas.
Je vais passer chez Apple et ne sais si je reviendrai chez Spotify que j'appréciais énormément.

Oh man news today Apple competing in subscription podcast space too 😂  This is quite the war.  What better way to compete than to put in HomePod default provider support. If this is being met with resistance at the App Store review, put them on blast in the media for being anti-competitive. I mean Pandora put this in a while ago so what is the deal 🤷🏻‍

I prefer to use Spotify, but I am considering switching to another service that better supports my HomePod Minis. Please catch up to Pandora and Amazon Music by implementing HomePod integration.

How many votes do you need to at least give feedback to the community about this idea? A million?

Clearly there’s a substantial demand for this feature and end users are fed up with the company feuds which impacts the end users and in the end your revenue...

For every comment on this idea there are at least a hundred that feel the same but just switch subscriptions.

Might become one of those as well in the future...

Quite remarkable dis-respect for a community that ostensibly they
encourage. Clearly it is just a pretence. I think I will trial AppleMusic
too. Problem may be that the children may not want to switch. I actually
would like to see a higher resolution from Spotify because I also play
through a hifi rather than just the HomePods.
It seems votes do not count with Spotify.

Is there any update about this feature at all? It is a massive issue for HomePod owners, and even if I prefer Spotify, I am really considering moving to Apple Music at this point...

Started my free month for apple Music and the homepod integration is pretty cool. I can‘t unterstand why spotify isn‘t inplementing the native support for this feature.

It would be so easy to stop users switching to apple music. But maybe they have enough users and don‘t care about users switching🤔
