[iOS] Landscape mode on iPhone

Hello folks!

Since we just released "Landscape Mode on Android" and we marked the idea as "implemented", we wanted it to be fair with iPhone users (half of the comments were supporting Android half iPhone) so we have created this idea just for you iPhone users!

We have also added half of the kudos to be entirely fair.

Give it some kudos if you want to see this implemented.

After talking to the iOS team, we're keeping this idea as 'Not Right Now' as this isn't something we have any immediate plans to implement. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts.

 

If we do have any new info to share, rest assured we'll check back in here with a new status.

Come on guys. Can you please make this a focus. It is unfair that apple users don't get the same features as android yet pay the same price. It surely can't be that hard to implement for such a smart team such as yourselves.

I use my phone as a GPS while driving and its in the horizontal position. It would be great to be able to use spotify without having to take phone out of cradle

How long is it since it was submitted? I just came across this as I just needed it badly now, seems this one ain't going to be looked after folks...

Was trying to find a reason not to go down the Apple Music route, this ain't gonna be it.

 

Besides music catalogue always dropping (many of the tracks I used to play 3 years ago are now just gone or greyed out from compilations), Spotify's focus does not seem to be on its customers, at least not iOS users...

Just moved to iOS from Android. Sigh, I thought iOS has better app support than Android does. Seems I wont be renewing my subscription with Spotify. At least not until this feature is implemented. ( Which i doubt since the idea already has like 2000+ Kudos and its still "not right now"). Off to Deezer then.

It is shame, that I CANT USE spotify in landscape with MY 1k $ device, because it is not a 100$ Android! I WANT TO USE SPOTIFY IN MY CAR WITH CRADLE!!!!

I have an idea.  Fix it or all the Iphone users will drop spotify for anyone of you competitors who seem to have compentent enough staf to fix this.   then when you loose money you can tell your bosses the Iphone users were not so important to you.
