[iOS] Landscape mode on iPhone

Hello folks!

Since we just released "Landscape Mode on Android" and we marked the idea as "implemented", we wanted it to be fair with iPhone users (half of the comments were supporting Android half iPhone) so we have created this idea just for you iPhone users!

We have also added half of the kudos to be entirely fair.

Give it some kudos if you want to see this implemented.

After talking to the iOS team, we're keeping this idea as 'Not Right Now' as this isn't something we have any immediate plans to implement. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts.

 

If we do have any new info to share, rest assured we'll check back in here with a new status.

spotify isn't listening, everyone should suspend their membership until this issue has been resolved

I usually don't post on support forums. This issue however needs to be resolved... No need to go in any detail about this. The iPhone 6 Plus is MADE for landscape apps, Apple even makes their native apps in two column landscape layout. Spotify needs tonrespond to this...

Really hope this is fixed soon. Just got a new iPhone 6 plus and was pretty disappointed to see landscape isn't supported. The larger phones have been out for a few months now. I don't want to have to find alternatives to spotify just because of the poor app support...

I really do not understand why it you need kudos just to make it landscape, just do it! We are paying customers so customers should come first!

Please add Lanscape mode for iPhone 6+. Since these phones are much larger using the phone in portrait mode is simple not possible all of the time. Would be an awesome feature especially for your premium members. Thanks!

Exactly - my main reason for wanting this is for car use, so what would be totally killer would be to make a simplified view in landscape mode with larger touch targets etc so that one can easily and safely use it while driving. As it stands, when I switch between my navigation app and spotify I have to keep rotating the display.

I've never seen a company that puts a major bug into their "idea" section, as if it is a nice-to-have..  and then completely ignores it

For me it's back to the default iOS music player until this issue has been fixed..
