[iOS] Landscape mode on iPhone

Hello folks!

Since we just released "Landscape Mode on Android" and we marked the idea as "implemented", we wanted it to be fair with iPhone users (half of the comments were supporting Android half iPhone) so we have created this idea just for you iPhone users!

We have also added half of the kudos to be entirely fair.

Give it some kudos if you want to see this implemented.

After talking to the iOS team, we're keeping this idea as 'Not Right Now' as this isn't something we have any immediate plans to implement. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts.

 

If we do have any new info to share, rest assured we'll check back in here with a new status.

Could really do with this for using landscape when connected to Pioneer app radio

Definitely needed, especially for those of us using Spotify in the car with the cradle set in landscape for sat nav etc... not having to tilt my head to see the next track is not only safer when driving, but it will also mean I stop getting funny looks from other drivers who think I've had a stroke at the wheel.  Therefore, you have no other choice but to implement it for us lowly ios users!

Now also version 0.7.4 is here...... guess if landscape mode is there?.... 😞    no Comment needed.

 

at least the new navigation pannel is nice.....  "to be entirely fair." 🙂

Dear lord..... please implement a landscape mode!  I have a really nice cradle mounted in my car and I use an app called Car Tunes for my iTunes music player.  I would seriously use Spotify WAY more if you included a landscape mode.  I don't understand why it is so hard to do?

Clearly what has happened here is the developers in charge of this app just can't make it work on the iPhone for whatever reason, and instead of communicating that to us they just say GIVE US KUDOS so we are participating in their thing in the meantime. I think I may have misjudged spotify as a service, I am starting to see them as being not as much of a mobile service at all, and more about their desktop stuff. Which is totally cool and all, it just isn't what i'm looking for.
