Premium users hearing ads in music

We've received reports that active Premium users are hearing ads interrupting their music listening experience.

I’m on the family plan up to 6 members in the same household and this morning I had adverts in between songs. I pay £19.99 a month and I never heard adverts before today. Why is this happening? All my payments have gone through and I’ve check my account all is ok but for some reason I’m getting adverts?

Not listened long enough for an ad yet, but Spotify is missing all my premium features when I'm listening via a Google speaker.

Premium family plan, extremely disruptive ad this morning

No way to contact support, which I guess is what happens when you layoff thousands of your employees, and your product turns to garbage

If this isn't resolved today, I'm cancelling my spotify account for my whole family, this is absolute horsesh1T

Experiencing the same problem. Two adverts in a short space of time. Turned it off for now! Hopefully just an issue Spotify can fix quickly.
