Premium users hearing ads in music

We've received reports that active Premium users are hearing ads interrupting their music listening experience.

Hey folks,

 

Thanks for your patience while we looked into this issue.

 

This should now be fixed. If you're still having issues, remember to log out of the app and back in again 2-3 times in a row in order to force a resync.

My Question or Issue

 

My premium account seems to not be working for some reason. When i try to listen to music on my alexa I get ads and auto shuffle. I checked if my subscription had ran out and I am still paying for it. It seems to be worse when listening on my alexa than when i’m just on my phone.

Not since today, @B3rm. There are problems with ads from quite a while... Some have been fixed, some other has been addressed like "compliant with the ads policy"...
But it's more than a month of reading complaints.

My account is not allowing full access l. I’m hearing ads and I also can’t access my library fully and select particular songs I want to listen to. Almost as if I’m not a premium user. I checked my billing and everything up to date and still states premium family just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issue

My Question or Issue

Today I started randomly getting ads on Spotify Web Player after skipping a certain number of songs. The Spotify app on my phone is still working as normal though. I'm so frustrated. Also I've already tried logging out and back in on the Web Player but it didn't change anything. And I've checked and I am definitely on the correct account, which is Family Premium. Someone please help!!

My Question or Issue

I'm listening to a playlist (radio) playing music and am now receiving ads that are unskippable. Just double checked my premium subscription has not expired and still active (and has been for many years).

This is enough to make me cancel my subscription.

This issue started today for me.
Cannot play without shuffle and hearing ads in my own paid premium family subscription.

Did you ever find a solution to this? This just started happening to me and I'm about to lose it.

It won't let me shuffle any songs and has started playing adverts. When I play through my computer, regular shuffling is enabled again. I have checked and my account is still Premium Family.

Also on family plan, also started hearing ads today. I updated the MacOS desktop app today.
