Shuffle Play button has disappeared

Users are reporting that the Shuffle Play button has disappeared. This seems to be happening on iPhones only. The Shuffle button is missing both from playlists and in the Now Playing view next to the Play-button.

Problem: I have currently subscribed for 3 months. Unfortunately, the shuffle button has disappeared on every single albums or playlist on my Spotify app and om every device I try to connect my account to.

Would you mind helping me to sort this thing out?

It's not in any of those places. This is unacceptable. This keeps reoccuring and you guys need to stop breaking something that used to work.

Feedback: bring back the shuffle button next to the play button. If Adele really cares then dont have it there for albums but It is annoying to always play the same song first to shuffle and takes longer

I can no longer find the "shuffle" buton on the app, either on my phone or my computer.

Does anyone know how/wher I can find it and use it again ?

I upgraded to Spotify Premium today. Yet the moment I did, my option to Shuffle my Playlists disappeared. I can only find the shuffle option in the "Now Playing" tab, which appears when swiped up.

On premium, you can shuffle your playlists by clicking the "Enable Shuffle" button to the left of the other play controls.

I have the same issue. This is incredibly annoying and Spotify needs to change this back. I can understand Albums (though why would let a single artist control your whole platform is beyond me). But a user created playlist? Nah. That's not ok. BRING BACK THE SHUFFLE BUTTON!!!!

My Question or Issue

I recently made a new Spotify account and noticed that in both my playlists and other public playlists I cannot access the shuffle play/smart shuffle feature without going to “now playing” (I am aware I cannot smart shuffle other people’s playlists, but for my playlists I still cannot click it T_T). I also noticed when I go to choose a song from a playlist it does not save the fact that I had previously clicked to shuffle play a song. On my old account regardless of how many times I manually chose a song it would keep the shuffle play activated. If anyone knows as to why this is or how I can get it back it would be incredibly helpful. Thank you.

Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps.
If you're still having trouble, can you send me a screenshot or screen recording of what you're seeing when you try to shuffle? Make sure to hide sensitive info when posting to the Community.
