My Question or Issue I have Spotify installed on my Android as well as my Desktop PC.  When I am at partners location I play Spotify through my Android device to her BOSE Soundbar 300 speaker with no issues.  Before I quit Spotify I change the playback speaker to phone so we can use the Soundbar on the television.  HOWEVER, when I try top play Spotify through my BOSE TV Speaker at MY premises, Spotify says I am connected to the BOSE Soundbar 300 at the other location (but I am NOT) and I can't see or connect to the BOSE TV Speaker device.  Any idea about how to fix this issue?

Hi, @USAOz,

Welcome to the Spotify Community! Let's see if we can figure out how to fix this together.

If I understood correctly, there are two setups that are being used:

  1. A BOSE Smart Soundbar 300 at your partner's place. This device has Wi-Fi.
  2. A BOSE TV Speaker at your own place. This one only has Bluetooth.

It's possible that your Spotify account is still linked to your partner's device. You can disconnect it by heading to your apps page and selecting Remove Access. If she has a Spotify account of her own, it's best you use that one for the soundbar so you don't have to manually connect/disconnect every time.

💡Tip: You can share playlists & other content with each other's accounts. More info here.

As for the BOSE TV Speaker not showing up in the list of available devices, could you make sure it's been set to the correct input (should be Bluetooth)? If you were just looking in the Spotify Connect menu, check if it shows up in the Bluetooth settings of your device as well. Also, test if you can find it on another device (your android phone, for example).

If the issue is only with your PC, there are some useful Bluetooth troubleshooting steps you can try in this article, feel free to check it out!

Hope this helps! Cheers 🤘
