My Question or Issue

I've embedded a podcast on a website. It was working well for a year now. Until this errors appeared last week:
- Error on embedding podcast: upstream request timeout

- Error on embedding an episode: no healthy upstream

In the error log from my browser I see: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 504 (Gateway Time-out) - https://open.spotify.com/embed/show/5wrNc7sfNitw64icQA3mmi?

utm_source=generator

When I try to create a new iframe code, the same error appears (see the attachment).

What to do?

Thanks!

Hi, I'm experiencing a similar issue with playlists embedded in my blog.
Just a few days ago, I started encountering the same errors:

upstream request timeout

I hope someone can assist us in resolving this. Thank you.

Same problem here :c

I also have this problem with my podcast. How can this be solved? https://open.spotify.com/show/2sVdLuhhUZem9mZrHlQw5c?si=a53df76ce0574cc3

I've no idea what happened. But it is working again. (I've changed nothing)

Thanks anyway!

Any news? am having the same problem too.

Same issue described here.

playlist embeds are not working

I'm having the same issue for Spotify embeds. I'm also seeing the following error message.

`Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 504 ()`

I've the same problem again. Yesterday it was working, but now the issue is back 😞

Hey there folks,

Thanks for raising this on the Community!

We've checked things backstage and this should now be up and running again. Can you let us know if things are working from your end?

We'll keep an eye out for your replies.

Cheers!

Hi Maria,

Thank you for your reply. Looks like it's working again 🙂

Hopefully it continues to work now

Thanks for letting us know @JPV_01,

That's great news, happy to hear it's working 🙂

Should the issue resurface, or anything else appear, we're just a post away.

Take care!

Hi guys, I have the same trouble as decribed above. Can you please help?

I am also seeing the same issue.  The first time I previewed the embedded code, it worked fine. Every other attempt to preview it comes back with the same "Upstream request timeout" message after a few seconds pass.

Hey folks,

Thanks for reaching out.

This is most likely a temporary issue. Can you check again in 24 hours and let us know if it persists?

Cheers,

Hi there! I am having this issue now. Please let us know when it is resolved?

Hey there @ArtsofIxchel,

Thanks for reaching out!

Just to confirm, are you still experiencing issues with this? It seems like what you're describing might have been a short-lived issue with the Web Player.

Should you, however, still see the same error messages from your end, there's a few things you can try to check if you notice any difference:

  • Closing any extra Web Player tabs.
  • Clearing cache and cookies from your browser.
  • Using another browser or an incognito window.

If the issue persist after trying these steps, just let us know and we'll see what we can suggest.

Keep us posted on how you get on!
