My Question or Issue

How do you remove a device from your Spotify account that you never connected with in the first place? It seems I'm also getting random music on my recently played although it hasn't affected me during my active listening. It also keeps appearing even as a local device. I also cannot find the "FORGET DEVICE" button on it.

Hi
it sounds like your account is being used by somebody else? Personally I'd change my password, this will log you out of any devices, here's a helpful link: - https://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Answers/How-do-I-reset-my-password/ta-p/1300394

Good luck and let us know how you get on ๐Ÿ™‚

I already changed my password and signed out of everything. The device still appears. ๐Ÿ˜ž

You can try turning off Bluetooth and then turning it on. If it still doesn't go away, just turn it off and put it on when you need to use it.

Hey there @heykia,

Thank you for your post. We're happy to help you with information about this,

Since you mentioned that you've seen unknown music in your recently played - we recommend you to take a look at this on our support page to make sure that you've taken all the steps to shut out a possible intruder on your account.

If youโ€™ve ever used Spotify on a shared network, you may see other devices in the picker that were connected to that network too. You can have only local devices show by following the steps that's provided in this article.

If you have any questions we're always one reply away ๐Ÿ™‚

Cheers!
