• Reason for complaint: racist trope and stereotyping - the supposed Italian accent is hammy and denigrates that racial group by implying they cannot speak English without a strong accent or Italian speech patterns. It is grossly offensive.

Please please please fix this. I'm so sick of hearing this man drone about frozen pizzas at the most expensive grocery store in the country. It doesn't make me want to buy a subscription, listen to this mans food podcast, but it does make me want to go to a different platform for podcasts if this is how things are done here.

Hi

I’m in the U.K. and keep getting American Ads when listening to podcasts. I’m a couple of weeks behind on episodes but so far have had Mint, ICE , Some tool depot and a few others I’ve not taken note of who they were. 
It use to be that I didn’t get the ads and now I get American ones. It wouldn’t be so bad if they were at least for the correct country. 

it’s for an audio ad. 
latest iOS on my phone. Happened with my previous phone as well which I updated midway through the podcasts and still they play American ads. 

sorry I don’t know how to check for Spotify version.

Nothing you post/reply to answers the question. Many listeners in the UK are getting many American ads on general Spotify (I predominantly listen to podcasts) there’s no point on trying to recall what ads, too many to pick. They are definitely American & totally irrelevant here, so all Spotify are doing is wasting ad time & alienating listeners!!

Hi Spotify Team,

I would like to share some feedback regarding the volume and style of certain advertisements on the platform.
Some ads - especially those featuring people shouting or speaking very loudly (for example, like in the Red Bull ad where someone is practicing singing) - are significantly louder than the music or podcasts I’m listening to. This sudden increase in volume is unpleasant and can even cause discomfort or a headache.

I would also like to highlight that I already use the Volume Normalization feature in the app, but despite this setting, these ads still play much louder than the rest of the content.

I understand the need for advertising, but I kindly ask you to consider normalizing the volume of ads to match the regular playback level and to avoid using extremely loud or shouting voices in future campaigns. This would greatly improve the overall listening experience.

- Quantum Fiber Internet ad starts out with a high pitched trill that is startling and piercing and then there are two people singing an excruciatingly annoying jingle about some guy no one. cares. about. Please kill this ad.

It only plays if Im streaming a BBC podcast. And I've tried to delete info from bbc or even trigger a Diffetent ad to play—anything but this ad will do.

Why hasn't the ad tailoring tech of up and downvoting an ad come to production yet????? Please, just this one ad.
