On tv lg 43- lj5500 opens the app but does not play the songs when i press play. Any solution?
Im a premium payed user on Spotify, and was very happy with my Spotify on my new LG tv. Now suddenly i dont have that anymore, please bring it back.

At March 2018 has spotify released a new update, it works on my LG tv. FINALLY! Thanks spotify.
Spotify app now exists on LGTV using Spotify Connect. I'm using it myself right now.

Ahh That explains it.. I have 2,0 and it worked fine there - and suddenly it didn´t!
I just installed the app and having issues with music skipping or stopping. I have a premium account, can this be related to WebOS or the app not handling higher bitrate correctly ?
I have a lg55b7v and spotify worked fine through the TV speakers the first time I logged in and tried. But after that I can't get songs to start streaming in the TV app. I tried connecting my phone and managed to get the "streaming" to start but still no sound. Any solutions or ideas? I have premium and sound works in YouTube etc.

There is a much better Spotify app for LG WebOS TV-s.
You can find it in the Content Store. It is not in the premium section anymore, but much better app then the one it was in Premium.
i tried going to the content store and can’t find it i searched for it not only in the premium spot and everytime i click the remaining spotify on my tv it says “this app is no longer available”
I have it in the entertainment section.
Spotify version available is 2.0.5.
I have WebOS 3.5 (firmware version 05.30.01) set to Hungarian locality.
I found a free spotify in the content store, but it won't work, pls help!
I have tried power cycling, switching between wifi & ethernet, switching between TV speakers/external speakers.
In the LG content store I cant see any premium button, when i search for Spotify I can only find one App.
Still the same problem, I can log in see my playslists but when i start one it doesn't stream or buffer. It worked the frist time i started the TV but has since then just stopped working. Anyone else experiancing the same problem?
