Hello everyone,
Maybe I'm not looking at the right location for the answer, but on a the list of the supported gears ( https://www.spotifygear.com/ ), it seems to me that there is no option for a standalone player/speaker that supports a LAN-ethernet connection. I can only find wireless devices using a WLAN connection.
Of course I can connect a laptop with LAN to my speakers, but I would rather have a standalone player as well.
Any idea of a gear that does this? If anything fails and no gear is available: might it be possible to implement a spotify player on a Rasperry Pi?

Hey @booohg
Check the Sonos Play 1. I have one, and it has LAN connection.
Also, Spotify has a linux version of the app, so yes, it's possible to use it in a Raspberry Pi (even though I haven't done it myself).
Hope it helps. 🙂
