app to web/advertisement language /block/history

Why i have to LOG IN on webpage when i open true the app? should be log in already since i’m log in in app ? 

that just takes time and irritating.!

2 advertisement 

WHYYYY!i hearing advertisement in Spanish ?! 1 i live in America 2 i do not have even one song in Spanish so why i hear so many commercials in Spanish language?  i don’t speack or understand what that is about i did block multiple  times and still hearing it.

And why same advertisement plays all day and even two times in the row more often i hear it less chances i would be buying or using what ever i advertisement is about i guarantee 

3. Blocking

I been blocking same commercial and for some reason i hearing it even more i did even experiment if i didn’t block would play 2-5 times  in 8hr if i block would play minimum 5 max 15 times in 8hr even blocking each time playing that specific advertisement that i dislike m difrent with music tracks after blocking i hear it more then i marked in my likes 

4. history 

i can’t see my history anymore won’t open 

like previous song i just listen

You’re right — it can feel unnecessary to log in again when switching from the app to the web.

  • Spotify treats app and web sessions separately for security and privacy reasons.

  • While this adds an extra step, it helps keep your account safe.

  • Hopefully, more seamless login across platforms becomes available in the future!

📢 2. Advertisements in Spanish
Hearing ads in a language you don’t understand is definitely not ideal.

  • Spotify bases ads on several factors like location, usage patterns, and available inventory.

  • If you're getting Spanish ads despite no Spanish music or settings, please report it so the right team can investigate.

🚫 3. Blocking Ads

It’s concerning that blocking ads seems to increase how often you hear them.

  • Ad feedback helps improve future ad targeting, but it may not block a specific ad immediately.

  • Keep reporting the ones you find disruptive — your input really matters in improving the experience.

🕘 4. Listening History Not Showing
Not seeing your recent history can be frustrating.

  • As a workaround, head to Search and type "Recent" — it should appear at the top of the results.

  • This isn't a perfect replacement, but it helps in most cases while the team looks into similar reports.
