can not delete song from queue in Webplayer

I'm using spotify with the Windows app in most cases. But recently I played songs from the webplayer in chrome browser.

Today I saw several songs in my queue which I'd like to delete. But when I open the (Hamburger) Menu and choose 'delete from playlist' nothing happens.

This is especially a problem because I think that this song conflicts with playing songs from my smartphone via Amazon Echo speakers.

What can I do to remove the song(s)?
