summer internship

I have filled out the 2024 Summer Marketing Internship (in NYC) multiple times already and each time I click submit nothing happens. I have filled out everything I am prompted to fill in for the application--I also included a resume and cover letter (in the text box). I have tried this on two separate MacBook devices (running the latest Mac OS) and each time I go to click submit, my application is not submitted and nothing pops up telling me there is an issue. How can I fix this??

In case you don't see that you've received anything, we recommend checking your spam/junk folders as well. If there's no email there either, let us know and we'll take a look at what might have gone wrong.

Just reiterating the points above, I applied for the product management internship  London position last weekend but didn’t receive a confirmation email either. 

Are confirmation emails standard or not?

I applied for the 2024 Summer User Experience Research Internship in Stockholm. I received a screen that my application had been submitted, but I did not receive a confirmation email. I saw others were facing the same issue but did not see a solution. Is there a way to verify if my application has been received?

This is happening to me as well. I submitted on 3/15 before 9AM ET, got the confirmation screen but still don’t have the confirmation.

I applied to the Spotify London software engineering internship last Thursday. The web page confirmed my submission, but I have not yet received a confirmation email. After reading this thread, I am a little concerned that my application will not have been processed. The applications are now closed, so may I ask if there is any way I can confirm my application was submitted?

I've checked my spam folder and double checked my overall email to see if I've received anything, but so far I have not gotten a confirmation email yet regarding my application for the Marketing Internship in NYC. One of my friends got a confirmation email after 5 business days from applying, however it's been over a week for me. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Ivelina, I applied to the NYC Engineering internship as well as the NYC Data internship on March 13th, but I still have not received any confirmation email. I have checked my spam/junk folders too and have found nothing.  Please let me know if there’s anything I can do!

I think that as long as you got the 'thank you for submitting' msg after applying, you should be good!

Thanks so much for your reply! The confirmation issue is all solved now thanks to a very kind recruiter that reached out and made sure everything was confirmed for me 🙂 However, I did receive an email from Spotify yesterday (picture is attached) that I'm a bit confused about. 

The email says they've already reviewed my application and are looking forward to considering me further for the opportunity, which I would assume means they liked what they saw, and I would assume "moving forward" means an interview. However, at the end they say I have to wait and see if I'm going to get an interview, so I'm not really sure what this means.

I saw some other people get the same exact email, except some of theirs said "we are reviewing your application" instead of "we have reviewed." At first I got my hopes up seeing that it said they've already reviewed it and are looking forward to further considering me, but seeing that they sent the same message to applicants whose applications haven't been reviewed yet is a bit confusing because now I don't know if the email holds weight or if it's just the default email they send to everyone. 

Additionally, the email also says that they review all applications before starting the interview process, but I've heard of a few people who have already received emails about an interview. 

These three things combined are why I'm just a bit confused as to what the email meant. However, I do understand that the recruiters are very busy, so I don't mean to pose any inconvenience with my questions, and I appreciate them for taking the time to even consider my application and send out an email to begin with! This internship means a lot to me, which is why I'm reading into the email so much and looking for answers. I've invested a lot of time and effort doing much research on Spotify and their company culture, as well as scouring LinkedIn, Reddit, and every inch of the internet to learn all that I can about the company, especially since I've used Spotify for a decade. Because of this, I'm very eager to understand and really care about Spotify and what Spotify is saying in the email.

Thanks so much for looking into it. I have had the same issue of receiving the confirmation screen but no confirmation email. I also checked my spam folder several times and have not received a confirmation and am worried that my application didn't go through. I applied for the Product Management Internship as well as the Podcast & Original Content I Markets & Subscriber Internship (both in London). Is there a way to make sure it went through? I'm not entirely sure but I think I read somewhere that they let people know if their application is what they're looking for as an update and then they let them know after if they have made it to the next round. Maybe you passed the pre screening and then they'll see out of those that passed the screening, who to take next? I am not entirely sure but I do think I did read that somewhere but can't seem to find where.

Hi. I have also applied for an internship but am still waiting to receive confirmation. I saw others got their confirmation after a while, which worried me; I am wondering how I can be sure you have received my application.
