Basic Family Plan

Basic Family Plan

Spotify shows me the option to switch to a basic family plan, which is cheaper due to not including audio books.

Yet when I go to switch, which is already over difficult for the user (obviously on purpose), I don't see the option. What is going on?

How do I subscribe to a basic family plan and NOT an advanced family plan?

And when will you appear to be decent company that cares for it's users and artists?

Hey @Loomistj,

Thanks for coming to the Community.

If your account is eligible for the Basic plan, you'll be able to switch to it at https://www.spotify.com/account/subscription/change/.

Let me know how it goes 🙂

This page does not show "basic" anything. It shows "premium" plans for indiviudal, student, duo, and family.

I'll try to be more clear: Is the cheaper, no audio book, version of the family plan available to be used or not? As far as I can tell it isn't.

Hey @Loomistj,

Thanks for getting back.

Basic is available for previously existing Premium subscribers.

Do you currently have a Premium Family plan and if yes, when did you start your subscription?
