Cancelling premium after changing to family

Solved!

Cancelling premium after changing to family

I have a Premium Individual subscription but my dad has upgraded his subscription to Family and I have joined his subscription. Do I need to cancel my subscription or does Spotify do that automatically? I've tried canceling it but since I'm now a member of the Family subscription I can't find my old Premium subscription.

Hey @elladonofrio, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Once you have joined the Premium Family plan, your original Premium subscription will automatically cancel as the billing now goes to the plan’s manager for the Family plan cost. There isn’t anything further that you need to do after you accept and join the Family plan.

There’s more information on how Premium Family works here

Hope this helps!
