Hi @Hakan7,

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!

No worries, if you’re a member of a Premium Family plan (rather than its plan manager), leaving the plan won't cancel the subscription for anyone else in the plan.

You can leave a Premium Family plan by following these steps:

  1. Go to your account page.
  2. Select Manage your subscription, under Subscription.
  3. Select the Cancel subscription button under your plan.
  4. Continue through to the confirmation message.

When you leave the Premium Family plan, your account will revert to the free service. If you'd like, you can then subscribe to your own Premium plan here

Changing subscription plans won’t cause you to lose any of your playlists or saved music, and you can keep your same Spotify account.

Also note that members can only switch between Premium Family (or Premium Duo) plans once a year.

Let me know if you have any other questions, and have a good day!

Bonjour, mes enfants et moi sommes membres d'un compte family dont je ne suis pas gestionnaire. Comment quitter ce compte sans avoir à le demander au gestionnaire du compte ?

I have just been removed from a premium family

plan and would like to sign up for premium individual but it gives me this message each time I click on it

“Sorry, you are not eligible for that plan. Here are some other ways to get Premium.”

and there is nothing that leads to “other ways to get Premium”

what should I do?

Hi @Hemingway-karen,

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!

I recommend trying to subscribe directly from your account page (select “Your plan” at the top, or “Manage your subscription”). Alternatively, I'd recommend making sure that you’re logged in on the Premium page before attempting to subscribe to Premium Individual from there.

I also suggest making sure that you’re not using a VPN while attempting to subscribe.

If you’re still experiencing issues subscribing to Premium Individual, I’d recommend testing with a different device, a different internet connection, or an incognito window, to see if that makes a difference.

Let me know how it goes, as well as if you have any other questions.

Have a good day!
