My Question or Issue

Last February, my credit card somehow failed to autopay for the monthly subscription early this year (around February) and forced me to renew the Premium Family subscription, which then resets the system to think that I've only just subscribed to Premium Family this year. Weirdly enough the credit card wasn’t the problem, the card itself hasn’t expired or cancelled. I've been subscribed to Family Plan since… 2018/2019 (I think Spotify’s Badges recorded this, so I have proof) so I should be eligible on Spotify’s rule for 6 people Family Plan since I’ve subscribed before November 2024. Now I only have 4 slots in the plan.

Does the Spotify Team have any solutions to this? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi, @Chocolatte,

Unfortunately, due to the lapse in the plan, the start date will now be the day it was renewed, which means that your account isn't able to use the old plan.

However, if you would like to make use of the additional slots you can still do so!

Ensure you have filled all slots in the 4-member Family plan with accounts (this includes the plan manager) and then follow these steps:

  1. Go to your account page
  2. Under Manage your plan, click Buy additional accounts
  3. Click Continue
  4. Choose your preferred payment method.

If I can help you with anything else, please reach out!

Cheers,

Jordan
