So what are the benefits of the Family Premium account? Other that it can hold 3 seprate playlists but can't play them at the same time?

Hey @jaystein1970,

 

Each family member gets their own, unique Premium account. If anyone has Spotify already, they’ll keep all their saved music, playlists and recommendations.

 

This means that each family member is able to listen to different music at the same time.

Thanks for the response i appreciate it. So, i guess i want to make sure i'm not confused. I've got Family Premium.. i have the Spotiy App on my computer, my phone and my daughter has it on her phone....so thats 3 devices its loaded on. I used to be able to play music from my Marantz prior to adding my daughters account....but now when i select the Spotify app on from the remote marantz app, it tells me i need a Premium account. Is that normal behavior because i've already installed/registered 3 devices?  Thanks again in advance.

I don't think that issue is related to your Premium for Family plan.
