Local files

I want to upload a deluxe album i bought to my Spotify account I was able to do it on my computer but when I try to turn on local files on my phone the option in settings isn't there like it is for other people. can someone help me figure out how to do this.

Welcome to the Spotify Community! Apologies for the late reply, I just came by your post.

The option to discover local files can be found in the app's Settings > Apps and devices > Local audio files. Note that in order for the files to show up in Spotify, they have to be physically present on your phone's storage. You also have to grant the app the necessary permissions - access to "Media & Apple Music" for iOS and "Files, photos and media" for Android.
