API Extension Request Taking a Long Time

Title says it all, I'm aware that the FAQ states that it may take a few weeks for the request to be approved, but in my previous requests I've gotten a response back within two days. However, it's been almost two weeks now and I haven't received any feedback. Is there something that I can/should be doing to help this process along?

After you press "Request Extension", you can read "We will process your request within six weeks but may take longer during peak periods."
