Spotify Android-studio handshake

My Question or Issue

I am constanty getting an error "An unexpected packet was received before the handshake." Could this be because spotify has a max amount of requests you are allowed to make or does this have nothing to do with the spotify at all? Note, it all worked flawlessly for a bout half a day and now this message shows up as soon as i try to go to the activity related to my spotify implementation.
