Unable to create app

It says new integrations are on hold while me make updates to increase reliability. The create app button is completely disabled.

same here. at least give us an eta or proper announcement.

So from the "promised" updates via email from the "specialized team" I have received in total of 0 (ZERO) updates on this. Not only is the whole developer forum a let down when your voice is not heard, also support requests through their support advisors is being ignored. It's sad to see developers being treated with silence.

It's been 2 weeks at this point and knowing the lack of communication we will never get an answer on this. Let alone the question if the app creation will be available at all again.

I get requests from my users every day why they can't create a new app and I have to redirect them here. Not only is the way to force my users to create their own apps stupid but the rate limit on developer apps itself is questionable at least. How am I suppose to supply 15-20k active users with a single API App that gets rate limited basically within minutes of use.

Marked as solution

Hey there folks,

Thanks to everyone that has taken the time to post in this thread.

We'd like to say that the teams are currently investigating this and new integrations are currently on hold while we make updates to improve reliability and performance. As soon as we've got any other news to share, we'll let you know.

Update: You can find more information about what's changed and what's to come here.

In the meantime, we're here if there's anything else we can assist you with.

Cheers!

โš ๏ธ PS: A few notes on why this post is marked as the Solution. A marked Solution is the current best-suited answer to the question at hand. It offers extra context or provides a workaround, even if it doesn't contain the exact information that โ€˜โ€™fixes the issueโ€™โ€™. We see how this could frustrate users who expect the Solution to be a fix and we do appreciate the feedback. But for the time being, we'll continue to mark these answers as Solutions as it means they are more prominent and easier to find in Search and Browse. Thank you for your understanding.

With all due respect, this doesn't address the actual issue and feels more like damage control than a resolution. Saying that "the team is investigating" without providing any concrete details, ETA or workaround doesn't help developers who are currently blocked.

At the moment, the only real solution is restoring the ability to create new apps. Until then, this remains a breaking change with no actionable guidance. Any additional clarity beyond a generic status update would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, it's not a solution, although classified as such, but it does indicate that the request is being considered.

This is incredibly frustrating. First, you increase prices, and now you suspend services without any prior announcement or a clear ETA. Expecting us to pay more for a diminished service while hiding behind vague updates is unacceptable. We need a concrete timeline, not empty phrases.

Marking this as a solution ist really outrageous

Thanks for the reply, but this doesnโ€™t actually provide any new information beyond what the dashboard error message already states.

Additionally, marking this issue as solved is confusing, as the underlying problem remains: developers still cannot create new integrations. At the moment, this is a blocking issue with no workaround.

A meaningful resolution would include at least one of the following: confirmation that app creation will be restored, a rough ETA, clarification on whether this is a temporary outage or a longer-term change, or any alternative path developers can take in the meantime.

Until the ability to create new apps is restored or clearer guidance is provided, this issue doesnโ€™t seem resolved from a developer perspective.

At least you could create a manual way to create an app to process at least some people from the community.

How about free service until you fix the issue?

This is not a solution at all, why is it marked as a solution?

A reply after two weeks that neither answers any questions nor provides an expected timeline for a solution does not even sound like damage control to me. Marking this as a solution is simply impudent.

Thanks for the nothing answer, copy/pasting the text from the helptext on the disabled button ๐Ÿ™‚

This post is falsely marked as a solution. There is no current solution!

This is falsely marked as a solution. This solves nothing.

I wonder if there is any support here at all and is it not there at all?

The team isn't giving any solution, in fact... Please give us the possibility to create new app. Streamdeck integrations are down for example, it's very annoying.

Please return me my missing applications, I had 2 applications, now for some reason they are not there, please return them to me

That is NOT a solution.

This is ridiculous. This is not a solution. The issue has not been solved. I have ended my 5-year long subscription.
