Can't accept Premium Duo subscription

I am trying to join my fiance's premium duo subscription. Our addresses in the account are the exact same (we live together), and he typed in the correct address when signing up for the account. Every single time I try to accept & join, I get an error message after confirming my address: "There was a problem. Please try again later." How can I fix this and join his plan??

Hello! Welcome to the Spotify community

This type of issue when trying to sign up for a Premium Duo plan can happen for a few reasons, even if the address is the same. Here are some suggestions to fix it:

1. Check the address details:

Even if they look the same, small details can cause the error:

Use Google Maps to copy the address exactly.

Include the number, street, neighborhood, city, zip code, etc.

Make sure there are no extra spaces or different abbreviations.

2. Try another browser or device:

Sometimes the problem may be with your browser cache.

Use another browser (like Chrome, Firefox, Edge) or

Use incognito mode.

Also try using the Spotify app on your phone.

3. Clear your browser cache and cookies:
This helps eliminate session errors.

Then, try accessing the invite link again.

4. Avoid using a VPN:

If you are using a VPN, turn it off, as this can confuse the location check.

If nothing works, ask your fiancé to cancel and resend the invitation.

If this still doesn't work, let me know so I can continue to help you!

Keep me updated!
