My Question or Issue

Hi there!

My premium subscription was stopped a month ago. I wanted to renew it, but I couldn't pay!
The only way to pay is by credit card. I tried with two Tunisian cards, and two UK cards, but I get the message "Payment failed. Please try again using another card or another payment method."
Important detail: the price has increased from 4.99$ to 12.5 TND. I think it has something to do with that.
Can someone help, please?

Sorry to see this has been happening to you!
We'd advise trying again via an incognito browser window to see if that makes a difference.
If you still receive the same error, try again in 24 hours 🙂 

In case the issue persists, take a look at this article and follow the steps at the bottom of the article to manually update your payment details.

Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, it didn't work and I don't know what to do. Worst case scenario: do you think I can subscribe from another country and use it here in Tunisia?

Thanks for the post.

 

I'd suggest you wait at least a couple of days before trying to subscribe again, because if you've tried too many times over the last few days and the payments have failed, the system might have temporarily locked your account to prevent fraud.

 

In order to subscribe for Premium, your payment card must be issues in the same country you're currently living in and the same country that your Spotify Account is set to. Otherwise it wont work. Also, make sure that your card is enabled for international secured payments.
