My Question or Issue

Me and the girlfriend each have Spotify Premium accounts and are moving into one household. I purchased a family plan and invited her. She received the invite and it was stated she would also pay the family plan rate in full meaning we are now paying double the rate. It is stated that the family plan administrator is the only one who pays the rate.

The attached screenshot is the screen of the family member receiving the invitation sent by me who is paying for the plan.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with this. We'll definitely be able to help out though.

 

It sounds like you both signed up to be the administrator of separate plans. You can confirm this by asking your girlfriend to log in here.

 

If that's the case, and she's already been charged, ask her to reach out to us here with her account info as soon as possible so they can help her out with a refund. Keep in mind that she'll need to ask for it within 14 days of the payment being made.
