Family Subscription change Country

Family Subscription change Country

Right now, I am using a Family Plan with my Family in Malaysia with Malaysia's Credit Card.

However, We have moved to Thailand and willing to change region to Thailand with Thai's Credit Card.

Question.

1. If I changed the country from Malaysia to Thailand, will my family member follow me?

2. Before I use the Family Plan, I used to use Yearly Plan.

When I use Family Plan Spotify didn't refund for me but instead extend my usage according to my credit.

Will Malaysia's Credit Card get a refund and charge Thai's Credit Card instead

OR

Extend my usage until I ran out of credit.

 

My Goal is to move myself and family account from Malaysia to Thailand Region.

Please advise

Hey @centurycnkks,

 

Unfortunately, I don't think that you'll be able to continue the Premium for Family plan after moving because the system will notice that you and your family members have moved and then it'll remove all members from the plan.

 

You need to create a new account and subscribe to Premium for Family on that account to be able to continue using Premium for Family with no issues. Don’t forget to cancel the plan on your old account 🙂
