Free Spotify and Playlists

Free Spotify and Playlists

Currently I have Premium plan, but I don't use Spotify that much and concider going fro Free for a while. But what happends to Playlists then?  Will they still be there?  Can I still make playlists or add to existing playlists?  And can others use my playlists still?

Hi @LarsErikOsterud,

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community!

No worries, changing your subscription to the free plan won’t cause you to lose your playlists or saved music. You’ll also still be able to make new playlists and add tracks to existing ones.

Moreover, other Spotify users will still be able to listen to and save any playlists you’ve added to your Spotify profile, or for which you’ve shared the playlist link.

You can cancel your Premium plan by following these steps:

  1. Log into your account
  2. Under Your plan, click CHANGE PLAN.
  3. Scroll to Spotify Free and click CANCEL PREMIUM.

If you'd like to sign up for Spotify Premium again, you can do so here.

Let me know if you have any other questions, and have a good day!
