Free vs duo

Free vs duo

I had signed up for Spotify Free for a month to try it, but then my husband purchased the Premium plan, Duo, so I cancelled the free and now I cannot use my email to set up / join on his Duo plan.  HELP!!!

Thanks for reaching out.

 

If you've closed your Spotify account, it can take around 14-30 days for your email address to become available for sign-up again.

 

After you closed your account, Spotify emailed you a link which you can use to reactivate it within 7 days. So if it hasn't been more than 7 days yet, you can just reactivate the account.

oct. 1 I received an email "fufilled your deletion request" so it no longer identifies you.    BUT, then I went back to the email I received when Husband set up Duo, and tried to access / set up there again and the error was that "someone already joined this duo plan" so Now when I reset password for **bleep** it is still only the FREE version!!!!    So frustrating ..is there no one to actually SPEAK to?

I recommend reaching out to Support so that they can take a closer look at your account and see what might be preventing you from joining the Premium Duo plan. 🙂
