Getting Double charged

As I'm trying to figure out why I am getting notified by Spotify that my credit card isn't going through (even though the credit card company is saying the charge IS going through), I have noticed that I am getting charged TWICE a month by Spotify.

I can't figure out why this is happening.  AND I can't get in touch with aSpotify rep to figure this out...because you have no customer service phone number.  Seriously, this just seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Hey @acompleteunknow, welcome to the Spotify Community.

There are a few things that could have happened here:

  1. You hit the button twice when upgrading. If this is the case, the two charges will be on the same date and your next payment date will be 2 months away. You can check by visiting your subscription page.
  2. You’ve created a second account and subscribed to that one too. Are the charges on different dates? Check your other email inboxes for emails from Spotify that can give you a clue as to where the second account is registered. You can then cancel the second account by following the steps here. Just be sure to check you’re deleting the account without your playlists (check by signing in with both).
  3. If you haven't received a receipt from Spotify to your account's email address, it's very likely that it's just a pending charge. There's more info about this here.

We hope this helps!
