Impossible to upgrade Spotify plan?

My Question or Issue

Whenever I try to upgrade my Spotify Duo plan to Spotify Family on the app on my phone/laptop it says I need to go online and do it but when I go online to do it it says I need to do it in the app?? does anyone know how to upgrade idk why they've made it so confusing. I dont want to cancel my subscription because i dont want to lose my playlists/saved music etc

Firstly, just know that changing the subscription has no effect on your library so you won't lose anything when cancelling or changing to a different plant. You can switch to Family here, but be advised that often going from Duo to Family directly isn't possible. If the direct switch isn't working, consider cancelling your Duo, waiting for your account to revert to free and then subscribing to Family with the aforementioned link. As stated, you won't lose any playlists, liked songs, etc. during this process.
