My subscription was discontinued without notice

Solved!

My subscription was discontinued without notice

I just got an email from Apple that my subscription with Spotify was discontinued - but I did not receive any explanation (contact Spotify for more information was all it said).

When I tried to re-establish premium for myself, it won't let me...says I am not eligible, forcing me to only choose a duo subscription as the minimum - why? What should I do?

Hey @rmkinaus,

Thanks for coming to the Community.

In July, Spotify had informed users who paid through Apple's in-app purchase (IAP) that their accounts will revert to free at the end of their current billing cycle. 🙂 I recommend checking your emails junk/spam folder as you should've received such email as well.

Regarding your second question: It sounds like you already have an active Premium subscription, causing the not eligible error message to appear.

You can check your current plan at https://spotify.com/account. You're also able to see your next billing date there and manage your payment method.

Hope this clears things up 🙂
