I don't care about paying for my $9.99 subscription. That's not the issue. Two weeks ago I cancelled my debit card ending in [snip - Moderator edit] because I lost it. That was the same card on my Spotify account to make my payment.

Yesterday I checked my bank account. I was charged $9.99 on my new debit card ending in [snip - Moderator edit]. I haven't updated my card yet on Spotify. My concern is how do they have access to my new card without me updating it? If this happen to others I would be concerned. Seriously I am concerned. Do they have access to other stuff to?

I recommend checking out this Spotify Answer to check if you have another account.


Your payment details are usually only manually updated by you,  and the system can then use them for the next payment. The system can't update those automatically.
