My Question or Issue

So I've got spotify premium with student discount for a while now, and i pay the subsription with paypal. My paypal is linked with a debit card to my bank. Suddenly I can't pay spotify premium with paypal anymore because they tell me I need to link a creditcard to my paypal in order to pay. But it was fine for like 2 years. Was there an update or something? It is a problem for me because I don't have a credit card.

Hey @simpitje, help's arrived. 

In order for a PayPal payment to work, you need to have a payment card or bank account connected to the PayPal account. This is because the type of payment you do is recurring. 

You can get in touch with PayPal for more info about this, and there are other payment alternatives if you want to change. More on that here.
