Premium not working

Premium not working

I pay for the individual premium plan with StellarFi now and when I switched it over it worked for a couple days and then just put me back to the free version and now it won’t let me add any other cards to get it back or anything.

Hey there @Siddisme, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

I am sorry to hear that! Could you let me know what your subscription status says here? If it says Free, follow these steps and attach a screenshot of your Receipts page. Make sure to hide sensitive information when you’re posting to the Community.

If it says Premium, try logging out > restart the device > log back in in the Spotify app, and let me know if you’re able to use your Premium features, such as no ads, unlimited skips.

You can also follow the steps provided in this support article and let me know if they make a difference.

It says that I'm still on the free version even though I paid not too long ago and won't let me put a card on to keep paying for the individual subscription.

Thanks for the info. I’d like to get some more information to narrow down what could be going on. Can you let me know if you subscribed to Premium through Spotify directly, or through another company? If you subscribed through a different company, you would need to contact them as they're handling your payments.

 

If you subscribed to Spotify directly, can you let me know if you see a recent receipt in your Receipts page?

Ok I contacted StellarFi (the company I’m paying through) and they said it’s a problem on spotifys side because they haven’t received a transaction or anything for the individual premium Spotify subscription and when I try to switch the payment method or re-buy the subscription it won’t take any of my cards now.

Thanks for the reply. When you check your Receipts page using the link I provided in my last reply, do you see any recent transactions? If so, and you're still not seeing your account turned to Premium, then I would follow all of these steps and let me know what the outcome of each step is. 

 

If you do not, then you may have to cancel the Premium subscription through the third party, wait for it to revert to Free, and then subscribe to Premium through Spotify directly here.
