I've just received a reply to a similar issue I'm experiencing myself.
The advice I was given, was to go to twitter and direct my query @Spotifycares.
This is -I presume- a team of both technically skilled admins/programmers who ar eable to look a bit deeper into each account and solve the problems. I was told they have a usually two-day response rate.
