My Question or Issue

I believe this is a well-known issue but nobody in Spotify seems to care about this. Spotify quotes subscribers scubscription rates in currency where the subscriber is based, in my case, SGD. While this seems to be "user-firendly" to the subscriber, the problem arises when such charge is not processed in the country of the currency, in my case, Singapore. Such processing involves Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC). When DCC occurs, card issuing companies may (and most would) apply additional charge on cardholder. Hence, the actual amount paid is different from the advertised aubscription rate.

Under the DCC rules, cardholder shall be allowed to determine if the cardholder would like to pay using DCC or using local currency. However, we were not given a choice when subscribing to Sportify. 

I would like to urge Spotify to allow subscribers to choose whether they would like to opt for DCC or not.
