I have been paying for Spotify Premium for over a year now with my debit card and stopped payment with my card last month.  I did this because I lost my debit card and ordered a new one but decided to wait until my birthday to update my payment, because I wanted to get a 6 month Premium card from my parents to pay for the subscription.  I redeemed my card on the day before my Premium was set to expire, but today (4 days later) I recieved an email saying my Premium has ended.  I tried logging out of my Spotify on my phone and I was unable to log back in.  Does anyone know how to solve this problem?  I updated my info 4 days ago with a $60 card so I'd hate to have to have all that money be wasted.

Let's try to figure this out. Can you follow these steps for us?

 

  • Check your subscription page. Your status should be Premium.
  • If you're on Premium, try reinstalling the app with the steps here.
  • If it says Free, check the receipt we send to your email inbox. Make sure you're signing in with the username on that receipt. If the username on your receipt is a 10 digit number, please sign in with your Facebook login details.
