Upgrading from Premium to Duo issues

I've just spent a frustrating 5 hours on chat with Spotify Advisors in an attempt to upgrade my Premium account to a Duo.  I have credit on my Premium account from Christmas Gift Cards although this should not be an issue to upgrading as confirmed by the Spotify Advisors on Chat and this board.

Device

(iPhone 13, iMac 2015, Macbook Pro  )

Operating System

(iOS 10, Android Oreo, Windows 10,etc.)

 

My Question or Issue

I've just spent a frustrating 5 hours on chat with Spotify Advisors in an attempt to upgrade my Premium account to a Duo.  I have credit on my Premium account from Christmas Gift Cards although this should not be an issue to upgrading as confirmed by the Spotify Advisors on Chat and this board.  

 

I have tried all the solutions they offered several times.....

- using an incognito window

- confirming the Country and Credit Card are the same

- using different browsers (firefox, chrome & safari)

- trying different devices.

- have tried 2 different credit cards and paypal

 I select Duo and error comes up in the form of " Sorry, you are not eligible for that plan. Here are some other ways to get Premium"  and 'Oops, something went wrong. Please try again or contact our support team'

 

Would appreciate some insight or advice to issue and a fix.
