payment issues

hi, i’m new here but I have been trying to sign up for Premium individual for a month. i explained to support that i’ve had a trial before when i was in undergrad and so i just want to bypass the trial. they told me i still qualified and said i should just try signing up again even though i also stated i’ve had issues with payments before. none of the payment methods ever go through, and i thought it was my own card with an issue at first

and I was referred to the payment team, who were to get back to me via email. so once again i tried signing up and the payment failed and then i got this email…

"Hey there,

This is a follow up email regarding your payment issue.

Thank you for your interest in Premium. After a careful review our payments team is unfortunately not able to accept payment from your account at this time. We cannot explain any further and since we're unable to complete the payment, any pending charges will be returned to you by your payment provider. Let us know if we can help with anything else.

Spotify Customer Support"

 


i sent a follow-up email wanting to know exactly why payment could not be accepted from my account and also if it could be solved, but it’s been crickets on their end. anyone have any solutions or suggestions?
