Extended playlist

Earlier this year, you had an option to extend our "liked songs" playlist for example with new music, now we have thie AI shuffle thing. If you brought back the "adding new music randomly in your playlist if you want" feature, I'd be happy.

Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out! Sorry for the late reply, I just stumbled upon your post.

Sounds like you're referring to the Enhance playlist feature - it adds temporary song recommendations to the current playlist, which if the user likes, can save in the playlist. Enhance has since been replaced with Smart Shuffle on mobile devices (the desktop app still has the Enhance feature), which also works in a similar way, but the recommendations are added to the queue instead. You'll find more info on Smart Shuffle in this article.

Still, if you'd like to see the Enhance feature return to the mobile app as well, I recommend checking out this live idea and showing your support by giving it a thumbs up so it has a better chance of being considered.

Hi, the "Enhance Playlist" was a killer feature for me to use Spotify over other music streaming services in CIS countries. I cannot access the link (https://community.spotify.com/t5/Archived-Ideas/Mobile-Playlists-Bring-back-the-Enhance-playlist-fea...) that you shared to support the feature. Can you recommend any way to get the same experience, as with Enhanced playlist? Smart shuffle does not work the same, it has a lot worse recommendation algorithm, it does not even put similar songs in the list, they are totally irrelevant.

While not the same experience as Enhance, other methods you can use for finding similar songs are the Recommended section at the bottom of a playlist or Spotify Radios, so be sure to give those a try if you haven't already.
