Folders disappeared

Hi

i structure my playlists with a single folder, with a subfolder for every band that I like.

The subfolders contain every album from that band.

I’ve just noticed that when I’ve added two new folders, the last two existing band folders are just a black square with two circles on it that can’t be accessed.

Have I reached a limit?

I deleted the two new folders and my existing folders reappeared.

Any help would be appreciated, and advice how I should be structuring my music.

Hey @Markybhoy67, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Let’s try a few steps so we can solve this or narrow down the root cause of what’s causing your issue.

Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps. These steps are more thorough than the simple reinstall and can solve common issues.

If you're still having trouble, can you let me know the make and model of the device you're experiencing this on?

Let me know how everything goes!

Hi ive tried a restart and a reinstall to no success. It’s both my iPhone 13 max pro and iPad Pro.
I don’t think it’s a iOS issue, as I said because when I delete a new folder, the old folder reappears.

that’s what got me thinking there is a limit on how many sub folders you can have.

Hey @Markybhoy67

Can you let me know how many folders and subfolders you have? I would also recommend that you regroup your folders in a way that they're gonna get reduced and instead of having several subfolders - where you would be creating more main folders and add subfolders there. For example, have a folder called Artists A-H, then another one I-M, etc.
