How do I find artists I'm following?

Jackie888

So I find artists I like and I follow them, but how do I then find a list of all the artists I'm following to select one to listen to? I'm obviously being a bit dense. I can only see playlists on the left, but not people I'm following

Thanks in advance!

Jackie

Hey folks,

We've moved this thread to the relevant Help Board so it's easier to find for users with a similar question.

If you're looking for all the Artists you're FOLLOWING, there are currently two ways of finding them:

  1. In Your Library
  2. On your profile page:
  • On the desktop app, click your name in the top-right corner.

  • On mobile and tablet, tap Home icon_home.png, then Settings icon_settings.png, then View Profile.

For more info on how Your Library is organized we suggest checking out this Support article.

Hope this helps. Give us a shout if you have any other questions.

OK, consider putting it back.

That they don't have the ability to intuitively see who you're following is a MASSIVE mistake.  it's not intuitive to click your icon, then your own profile.  Spotify, please make a drop down menu that says, "Following" and has the options for friends and artists.

Simple addition.  Fix this.

It actually used to be in the Follow tab in the desktop client, but I think it was removed due to low engagement with the feature.

I can't find the playlists I'm following. These steps didn't work for me.

That's interesting because that's how I find the music I want to listen to, but the artists I'm following.  I don't use playlists for that, and there's nothing else I can think of that's like looking through a cd rack of artist names.

Hey 🙂

If you click on your name in the top right corner of the client and select "Profile" and then click on "Following" at the top of your profile that will give you the list of artists and people you follow 😉

Thanks. It makes no sense to me why it would be buried there instead of on my home page.

Is there a display limit on what the "Following" tab will show you? I'm following 740+ artists, and it's very clear that the page is not showing all of them. It may be showing around 100-200, but definitely not all of them.

Yeah but that doesn't work on my phone at all.

I was excited to find this fix.  Unfortunately, when I hover over my name and see 'profile', it dissappears when I try to click on it!  Help.

On the pc, when I click on my name or photo nothing happens. I could find my followers there before. What do I do now?

Does the menu with the options "profile", "private session" etc. not appear for you any more?

I have the option "private session" (see attachement), but nothing happens when I click on my name or picture. It used to be, but there is no active link there anymore. It changed when I got the new black design. Now I can't see my followers or the one that I follow (but those that I follow I can see as usual on the right side, what they share and have been listening to).

I just found out when I click on a friends name and go to their profile I can open those who are following them, and I find my self in the list, and can open my profile from there. Then I can find who's following me and those that I follow.

You definitely should be able to open your own profile from clicking your name in the top right corner of the client. Might be worth reinstalling to see if that fixes it?

Thank you for answering. I was afraid that I could lose the playlists that I have made, but I followed the link and read that I will keep them.

I have reinstalled Spotify, but the link on my name is still don't active.

I 'm in contact with Spotify support and will get help from them.

It was ok until I got the new black design.

Now I'm using version 0.9.10.14.g578d350b.

Spotify support couldn't help me, so I don't know what to do.

I logged in to Sptify webpage now, and it works there, the link on my photo is active and I can see my followers and those that I follow.
